While we are proud to be central Indiana's #1 By-Owner website, we realize that many people from this area and from around the world may like to shop for real estate using other websites. Google and Yahoo are the world's most popular search engines, and are now becoming major players in real estate listings.
In an effort to better serve our clients, we have researched and utilized a syndication service to dramatically increase our clients' home exposure. Several weeks ago we started uploading our clients' homes to over 15 top real estate websites including Yahoo Real Estate, Google Base, Trulia, Zillow, Oodle and numerous others. Clients have already received buyer inquiries from these sites.
Technology, the economy and consumer demand are forcing the real estate industry to change. More people are seeking to buy and sell directly, without commissions involved. Each year home shopping on the Internet is becoming the preferred way to find homes. With gas prices and time at historic premiums, the days of driving around neighborhoods are going the way of the dodo. We will adapt our services as homebuyers change their shopping methods. Someday, we may even phase out our magazine should the demand for our paper product become extinct, but until then, it's still proving to be a vital part of selling.

It's never been a better time to sell by owner through our company when you consider what you receive for $595: full-color magazine advertising, signs, flyers, a purchase agreement prepared by The Nice Law Firm - and now exposure on the country's top websites. The syndication service alone has an approximate value of $725.
While some real estate agents have aggressively kept up with the latest technology, most still rely primarily on the multiple listing service (known as the MLS, but recently renamed the Broker Listing Cooperative or BLC). The BLC is designed for realtors and NOT accessible by the general public. The listings are uploaded to other realtor sites and Realtor.com however those sites will never be complete without homes for sale by owner.
Sometimes pricing, address and/or contact information is not included in agent website advertising because agents want you to call them to obtain the information - thereby attempting to protect their chance for a commission. Today, websites that provide the most information instantaneously are the ones winning consumers over.
It's a challenging real estate market for many reasons, but the For Sale By Owner Store and ByOwnerPros.com will help you meet those challenges head-on through massive amounts of home exposure while never charging a commission.
